Hand Carved Stone Gazebos made of Marble, Sandstone, Granite or Limestone

We call this model “Corinthia”. It is a Hunan white marble stone pergola which was originally built for a customer who wanted it as an entry way into his home’s main entrance. The model on the photos is 2.9 meters (9.5 feet) wide, 7.6 meters (24.9 feet) long and 3.2 meters (10.5 feet) high. There is also a smaller version of this model which the customer used as his back door entryway into the garden.

If you take a look at the first picture on the right side (top), you will notice that this stone pergola has built in 8 sitting benches – four on each side. They can comfortably accommodate 16 people. In between the benches there are six hand carved corinthian columns – which originate from ancient Greek architecture but were later more popular in the Roman empire. The first and the last pair of columns are held up by female form statues.

For shipping purposes, this stone gazebo is packed in wooden crates and takes up about 9.5 cubic meters. It fits into one 20ft container and the total weight is about 9 metric tons.

Customization

Depending on the complexity and extent, customizing will naturally cause some additional building time and cost.

Like all our model, the Corinthia can be customized according to customer’s wishes. Since this beauty will most likely stay in your family for generations – hundreds of years after you are gone, it might be a nice touch to modify it with your family insignia, logo, your portrait, etc.. Take a look at the 4th image on the right – that flower could easily and tastefully be replaced with whatever you want, without distorting the beauty of this stone pergola.
